Title: Battlefield Trenches
Post by: Helen on January 25, 2009, 05:14:44 AM
Hi Guys,

Yesterday I visited our premier wargames convention here in Canberra.

Nic from Eureka was excited to show me these new trenches from Battlefield Accessories so he introduce me to Mike Parker owner of the company.

Mike explain this new lightweigth system he is using so I took some photos of this new product for you too see with some of my figures that I'd brought along for "Show & Tell." I was very impress, an as I said to Mike I've tons of Trench systems, but this is excellent quality and very light. I would recommend this product to anyone interested an I'll leave all the details at the bottom of the message. More trench system will be released very soon. A "T section" comes to mind.

Thx for sharing, Helen, very nice.

(Not to hijack your topic, but) for those people playing hex-based games, Kallistra has just released a trench system just for that:

Hope you don't mind, Helen, I'll buy you a drink next time we meet!

Hi Paul,

Actually, that was one thing I didn't enquire about! Paul, you won't be disappointed with the quality, it's very good.

I got a lot of their stuff in 15mm like barbed wire, landing craft, gliders etc.  I really like their gear.  I have posted a link to this topic over at the WAB Forums The Great War board because a lot of people are looking for trench systems that are affordable.

Hi - is there any more info about these trenches - went to the Battlefield website but they didn't feature on products list and noticed that the site had last been updated in 2006.

They are lightweigth as I've handled these trenches. To my mind if I didn't have so many of the other trenches they would be my first choice.
