:)
If this is manages to achieve the same balance between frustration and fun as the original then it will be great.

I hope the re-release the older version someday, and also maybe do a new Gears of War game since we have Gears of War 4 coming out this October.

I hope the reverse sides of the boards are grittier looking. Some dark rooms would be really great to capture the full variety of the DOOM games. Looks very good though. From the brief read it seems just like a tabletop version of the game. Powerups through weapon pickups etc.

I know FFG was probably obligated to sculpt the figures to match the reboot game play, but I wish they could have stuck to the classic look to the demons. The new figures look ok but they seem too bloated and chunky. I wonder if the figures will be 28mm like the old set or 32mm like FFG's latest releases.

Not me. I've got the older release and for our group at the time, it came down on the frustration side way too much for the marine players. I haven't played it in years, but if you'd asked us at the time "balanced" wouldn't have been in our description of the game. For me, if it can match Imperial Assault's balance, I'll probably pick it up.

lol
Yeah, as a Marine player you had to have a fairly strong masochistic streak, pretty much impossible to win against a good demon player. Not particularly balanced, but not intended to be I think. The Marine vs Marine rules that came out were a real blast though.
This one coming out this autumn probably means the "Hell Rangers" game that was previewed here recently is going to find getting noticed difficult.

Judging by the "How one the Marines don't wear pants" jokes from the Hell Rangers thread, getting attention isn't going to be that projects core problem. lol
