Title: Jamaican Georgian buildings?
Post by: manatic on 08 August 2016, 11:25:46 PM
As per the subject, I'm looking for Jamaican Georgian (mid 18th century) buildings for my 28mm pirate project, meaning something like this:

Any ideas? Sources for conversions? Nifty laser-cut sets? A 100% accurate match isn't required, just something that fits the style.

I'll bet that the middle picture is Rose Plantation.  My wife won a Jamaican vacation for us back for us as a game show prize back in the 1970s.  Quite a place.

Try these ranges from Sarissa Precision.

Specially the mexican hacienda and the plantation house with 3 variants.

Good stuff rumacara, thanks! Still looking for something for that stone palace/manor thing, but those plantation houses go a long way.

That is the one I have been eyeing for quite some time, Sunjester! Might need a bit more added grandeur, but has the right vibe.

How about some scratch-building?

Definitely not a bad idea! I'm just trying to save myself some work by spending (a reasonable amount of) money :D

This building is out of production. It was on sale at Historicon 2013 along with the Spanish looking buildings. So building your own or modifying some of the MDF buildings may be the way to go.

May be a bit to fantasy but might work for the building in the first pic ?

Hmm, at that price point that wouldn't be a bad purchase, great call Teld!

I've also been eyeing these from Ziterdes:
