Nestled into a junction, on a road leading into Carentan, stands in testimony a Normandy farmhouse that for many will always be 'The house at Dead Mans Corner'

Over the last couple of weeks, Ann & I have been on holiday in Normandy.
We took the opportunity to visit many interesting places including Sword, Gold, Juno, Omah & Utah beaches, Point de Hoc, Carentan and the House at Dead Mans Corner.

I took the opportunity to compare the real building with the 28mm Sally 4th MDF kit.

I was very pleased with how it had turned out.

Is the 88 still in the garden?

It is, quite a few scattered around Normandy.

Chris,
You look very dapper in that hat, I hope you and Ann had a great holiday. Looks like you got to see some very interesting places.
