Title: CONGO the last Queen, Battle report

Played the first scenario from the rules  pages today "The last Queen of Aksoum. we decided to  play on a 6x4 table and follow again the rules as best we could,. using my figure collection we assembled the  company's to about 100 points per side, the  Raiders/ Expedition were the camp occupants and the Pillagers the Zanabarians., alec took the raider and we set about the  game he had to try to escape with an idol/mask off the table  while under attack by the  Pillagers who had  sneaked up in the dead of night.

Thanks so much for the report. Judging from some other posts on other threads I know there are many of us trying to grasp an understanding of what makes the rules tick and how players get engaged before committing to an attractive but pricey game system. That's why your reports help.

Great report! I have to ask, what is that material that you use for your forest bases called? I see it used constantly but have no idea how to search for it.  "Ridged carpet underlay"?  lol

Cigar matt from Northstar I think its one of the best it fits almost everything but looks good on CONGO. thank you all for kind words and comments
