I've lurked for a while and decided registering and delurking was in order.
I haven't picked up a brush in anger for ten years or so but as I've been uncovering more and more unpainted lead around the place I've been feeling that urge. There is probably enough unpainted lead in my house to shield a nuclear reactor, though that would be a bit of a waste. Originally a modeller and painter, then a wargamer and now too lazy to do either, it seems. Interests have generally been in ancient and medieval wargaming in 15mm and 25mm and creating dioramas in 25/28 and 54mm with WWII, Crusades and SciFi/Fantasy the usual themes.
The work on display in these forums and the amazing quality of the figures on offer now are tempting me out of retirement. Maybe it's time to actually paint some of that Citadel/Ral Partha stuff from the early 80s. Or maybe the Redoubt Myceneans. Or the Irregular 54mm crusaders...

Hello, and welcome!
I'm here only for a week now, after lurking also for a while.
Those early 80s Ral Partha and Citadel are still among my favorite fantasy miniatures! (that might tell something about my age).
And those Redoubt Myceneans are top sculpts, even by today's standard. So, yes about tie you paint them! ;)
