It's taken In Her Majesty's Name to get back into miniature painting. My first two adventuring companies: A Templar adventuring company including a steam knight & Grandmaster Hughes de Payens; and a Royal Navy landing party.

I've added a Landship which isn't strictly on the list & I didn't feel that character of Wu-Po the Cook fitted that well with a European setting so I've replaced him with The Specimen. Found floating on a raft whilst rounding Cape Horn Lt Jack Halibut really should have presented him to the Royal Society but finding him useful he has been enrolled as a member of the crew. His origins are uncertain. Could he be from Darkest Africa or even Atlantis?

Great stuff...especially the RN Landing Party!

I really like the Templar in the steam suit!
And the ironclad minis tank the RNLP are sporting is suprelative.
Nice job!

Thanks! Currently mid way through a Scotland Yard, Society of Thule ambassador (with mechanical man household staff) & King Kong themed companies.

"The Specimen" is an inspired touch. Wish I had thought of that!
