Mike was kind enough to let me
butcher playtest his scenarios. While the end result bears little resemblance to his great reports, a fun time was had by both! And now the wife/opponent wants to do the whole campaign!

As an added bonus, we got to replay the ending, although (spoiler alert), I still lost...

Ha, ha...great report! lol Nothing wrong with cows subbing out for horses...you made excellent adaptions to keep the basic frame of the scenario intact. I'm glad you felt it was enjoyable and balanced. Our players who have fought that battle in our Beaver Wars playtests liked it too...
It is okay to let the lady win once in a while, too. That'll keep her playing..and not minding when you buy more stuff!

Hi Tom,
I just updated the First Command Wargames website. Your battle report is now on our Song of Drums and Tomahawks Game Reports page:
http://www.firstcommandwargames.com/song-of-drums-and-tomahawks/
We are up to 47 Game Reports linked from that page! Thanks, everyone for submitting them...! Oh, and we just released our third rules set -- a fast-play, big battle set covering the Seven Years War called "For King or Empress". Click on our website below if you're interested...! (now, advertising mode off... lol)
