Title: Integrating some En Garde rules into Ronin?
Post by: WuZhuiQiu on September 02, 2016, 04:03:14 AM
I am thinking of ordering a copy of Osprey's En Garde rules, to augment what's in Ronin, especially for, say, skirmishes between Japanese Pirates and Europeans. Has anybody here tried integrating some of En Garde's newer rules back into Ronin?

Sorry, to not really answer the question, but just posting to say that I think that is a worthwhile project as the two share the same basic mechanisms (or so I am told) so should not be too difficult.

There was a variant of importing the Ronin buntai into En Garde on the Ronin forums

It does allow leaders to order lesser troops around and you can build your own lists such as Ninja or mythical creatures.
