Post by: Heresy on 01 February 2009, 10:53:14 PM
Hello!

Yesterday I bought the new french box from Perry miniatures....this morning i MUST paint one xD!. I'm not sure about the correct colors :S, I've follow some Osprey books and the cover of the box...but at each site are differently! (I'm talking about collars, cuffs and helmet esencially), any sugerence?

And, what is your opinion of this?

note: please, forgot the chickens!, are by my brother (he has 21 years old xD)

Fantastic painting. I especially like the way you painted the Spanish cavalry (plus I’m a big fan of Front Rank figures).

You can find some info on the French Napoleonic on this site; http://www.mont-saint-jean.com/  It’s dedicated to the 100 jours campaign though.

Very nice! I got my box a week or so ago and I'm itching to get started.

Here's a link to a site with the lovely Napoleonic artwork done by the famous Funckens.  I'm lucky enough to have most of their books but this is an excellent resource for those who don't.

Stunning!. What would really set the pack off on the figure is a couple of small patches of brown. As they were made from Cow hide. The Spanish cavalry are awesome.

Great work! The tidiness of your painting style is admirable - haven't seen such clean surfaces (look at this ammunition pouch!) in a while.
Keep 'em coming.
