Well, thank God they're done. Still, they came out OK, and apart from one big mistake with the piper for the 92nd they came off first time.
Here are two pics, and a link to some more (closer ones) plus a few observations about artistic licence.

Really nice. I like the basing too. What is the green basing material?

It is Woodlan Scenics coarse turf. It's a mix of burnt grass (the green) and yellow grass. It is about a one part to two parts mix.
