I've had these figures waiting in the wings for quite some time. This past spring I picked up this crushed subway car at Partizan (an Ainsty model) and thought it a great excuse to get both it and the figures done at the same time. They will be a welcome addition to my loosely themed on 'Metro 2033' collection.
As a bit of tongue-in-cheek I decided to paint these guys in the brightly coloured jumpsuits of the Metro's maintenance and sanitation workers. I figure that if they had to clean and maintain the Metro's sewer system then they could probably handle anything handed to them after The Bomb dropped. (Ahem, perhaps a bad metaphor there...) :)
I used texture gel to add in some more brickwork and debris to the model. This helped it better blend with the bases of my figures. Went a little mental with the MIG pigment powders... ::)
These are superb figures - great fun to work on.
Thanks for looking!
Cheers,
Curt
