Picked up these two the other day. Not to the same standards as Foundry or other metal scupts, but at 6 animals for a buck fifty, it's hard to go wrong at 25 cents a model. Gonna paint them up and see how they look. I'll post a finished pic for those who are interested.

Thanks, that's interesting. Who makes and sells them?

I threw away the packaging, but I found this pic online. Packs vary slightly. Mine also had a giraffe, bear, moose and zebra. The moose, bear, and giraffe are all useable I think. Especially since, for me, animal models are often used like in Congo - as occasional events, not regular gaming minis or members of my warband.

I absolutely LOVE how they used the same "horror movie poster" font on both packages - "Bloodbath at Jones' Farm - the untold story of Napoleon's Purge!" lol
Lucky find, that - the ones I found around here (with some exceptions) were either too small, too big or too poorly-moulded even at the price. Did luck out with a bunch of hippos and rhinos, though - those look right.

I have been using cheap plastic animals like this for a long time. A lot of times the packs have a mix of usable & unusable figures. I just toss the unusable ones in the kids toy box & keep the ones I want. Although some times my little boy comes into my painting room insisting that the ones I kept are his too.
