OOoooooh, more Frostgrave! Excellent...
-
Awesome stuff! Always wanted a reason to get this Fire Demon, so it'd be perfect for a Starfire Elemental

For those who've read it already, what do people have planned for the Foulhorn monster and Celestium terrain?
-
I think the Celestium terrain is looking like a scratch build from blue foam for me! Where is the Fire Demon you posted from?

Interesting stuff
-
Looking forward to reading this tonight after work.
Had my first actual game of Frostgrave at the weekend, despite owning all the books since they came out. We played a 4-way one-off game with all new players (I provided the warbands and the scenery). Fortunately we all loved it and it looks like we may be starting a campaign soon.
The interleaving phases really make it work well asa multiplayer game.
-
Love it, definitly worth the 3$ to get it :-)
-
Cool. Will the be part of the upcoming compendium of ebooks put into print?
-
Yes, beefcake, Joe confirmed it will be part of the Frostgrave Folio.
And I'm very curious about the Foulhorn. Is it a humanoid? An insect or hairy thing with four arms? I dare to ask the creator himself: Joe, how did you visualize the beast? I'm intrigued also about their alliance with North barbarians. Are they suppossed to appear in the incoming Forgotten Pacts (in a scenario or in miniature)?
-
;D
Very first line of the blog post.
I was busy reading the rest of it
-
I am glad to hear they are all going to be collected as well! I have three of the e-books (I think... I can't even remember... O_o) but I am happy they will be put together into a proper book!
But man... This game has way too much momentum! I still don't even have all of the minis of the initial release painted, let alone the second... And now there is a fourth coming?
I need to step up my game!
-
Daniel, it will slow down a bit after Forgotten Pacts, just because I've got to slow down a bit! (But the rumours that Forgotten Pacts or the Folio will be the last supplement are not true).
The Foulhorn - there will be an illustration of this in the Folio. It kind of looks like a hairy minotaur that just happens to have four arms, two of them ending in bony protrusions...although it is perhaps closer to a goat than a bull...
-
Thanks for the description, Joe. Maybe a beast-man or a minotaur from Reaper Bones could be a good base to make one.
It is good also to know about new illustrations in the Folio. Burmak's art is not the reason why I buy Forstgrave products, but it have become one of the reasons to enjoy the books. (I always dislike wall calendars...but now I have convinced my wife to put the Frostgrave one on our home office)

So what is the supplement slated for June 2017 (according to Amazon), Frostgrave: Ulterior Motives, about?
-
Wow...
Just googling Frostgrave:Ulterior motives and found a Macmillan Press PDF with some information. Don't know if it is a spoiler, so I prefer to not put it here until Joe says something, but... impressive, very impressive. Can't wait for that.

How about miniature releases? Any more plastic kits to look forward to following the barbarians?
-
Hopefully, I'll be writing a blog about Ulterior Motives soon. I think it is safe to say there will be more Frostgrave miniatures, but what exact for that may take, even I'm not sure.
-
If you're taking requests - as somebody with all the current kits cut up in my workspace - a Women and Wizards sprue with female heads, cloaked bodies, and a bunch more random pouches, potions and miscellaneous junk for minor customization.

I agree with this. I prefer plastic kits over metal minis. A plastic kit with wizard and female pieces would be awesome.
-
I concur. A plastic wizard kit would be great. Perhaps a smaller kit that lets you assemble ten wizards, apprentices, apothecaries, bards, etc.
-
If there is room on the sprue, familiars. Very small, kind of like the optional extras, bages etc that the soldiers had. Maybe a crow, cat, frog etc.
