Two of mixed infantry and a unit of Garde Ecossaise ...

Hi James...
The base growies are static grass... It's a mix I put together ages ago by combining everything I had into one big box...

Once the grass is dry I lightly brush some of the clumps with PVA and then sprinkle ...heavily with K and M medium olive flock...

The effect I am aiming for small leafed foliage like clover and similar plants...

I hope that makes sense  and is of some help

All the best.  Aly

Very nice! The paintjobs are inspiring and those bases look super natural, they set the models off a treat!

Gorgeous looking units.

Forget those Romans, the army food's better on the French side  :)

Alys
You got yourself a new camera (phone) then?
Splendid units - suprising how few 15th French seem to be done with these figures - keep going and put down them Romans!
Simon.

Very nice indeed Aly, perhaps you could add 4 figures of light cavalry so you can throw an entire wing of Demi lancers into disarray  lol

Excellent work. Are those standards hand painted?
