Title: Viva la Revolution
Post by: Stéphane on February 05, 2009, 01:51:45 PM
Here the first guerilleros miniatures for my new projet:

They are 15mm and come from Peter Pig. It's a big pleasure to paint they. Very easy, godd detail but not a lot. Very fine for a speedy painting record  :D

The gouvernement forces from the Guardia Nationale will comming soon ;)

Like before, I can't believe that they are 15 mm figures. At first glance I thought they were 28 mm. Painting is outstanding.

Outstanding.  As gamer mac says they look more like 28s than 15s.  Wow!!

Thank a lot for your commentaries ;)

Very nice as always!

Is that your new project?

Yes !
In the first time I will use they for the sandiniste guerilla in Nicaragua and in the second time I will probably use they like Picaros for a pulpish projet :

 :D

What game play?

I will use my own rules "beyond all frontiers". I use it with my legionaries  (http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=8020.0)and bedouins (http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=8305.0). But I try a new dimension with my guerilleros ;)

Wow. Love them. And for 15mm, they're really 'intense'. Beautifully done Stephane.

Nice work on the buildings and figures. They look useful for AK47 style games as well.

Cheers

As always very good!
As I have moved aways from the 15mm scale I do not follow the new appearances etc.
Have you found some suitable Tintin figures?
and anything for San Teodoro (or what the name is in Frence) troops?

Museum Miniatures have some animals in 15mm, but at present the only dogs they have are mastiffs. Might be useful for guard dogs though ?
http://www.museumminiatures.co.uk/pages/index.htm

I'm sure I have seen a dog somewhere that might be suitable - perhaps a 10mm scale one.
Captain Haddock shouldn't be too difficult to source.

Nice buildings. The dry brush to the roofs really adds to the "realism" of the dirtiness.
