Finally managed to get some photos of our new Lawmen. Painted pics to follow, but it's a massive 16 minis so may take a while. Four sets for £10 each, grouped by weapon type. That gets you four figures (3 male, 1 female) and 12 heads (City Cops, Sheriff and Security Guard). They'll also be a big blister set of all 16 and 12 head sprues for £30. The weapons and police accessories will also be available as separate sprues. Out on Saturday 01 October.

These look fantastic and I can't wait to get some!
I do have a slight concern though...
The rifles look like Enfield's to me but the peaked and patrol caps look American... Not sure if American lawmen ever used British Lee Enfield's. I'm still hoping for some with pump action shotguns ;)
-
Need these!

I want my Rover!!!00111

Agreed, love all of them but pump action shotguns instead of rifles would be fantastic.

The rifles are there to match our 7TV security profiles. We've some personality packs planned with a shotgun - but we can certainly have a think about a shotgun pack.
-
M1 Carbines would of been very 70's!
-
Nice looking figures :-* :-* :-*
Looking forward to seeing the painted versions
Shotgun and MP 5 or Uzi would be good
-
Brilliant. :D I've been waiting for figures like these for absolutely ages!

Perfect! :D

yep, scatter guns are[use to be] the norm.
-
Wow! Excellent minis and insane value for such high quality and versatility, buying the £30 pack works out for less than £2 a miniature and that's with three sprues of heads for each as well.
Thanks
Blofeld

Nice. Will have to get them.

Good for fighting the SLA and weather underground types.
-
Great-looking figures... :)
... but yes the 'No.4 Rifle' is an odd choice for the U.S. It was indeed pump-shotguns, M1 Carbines and scoped civilian hunting rifles back in the '60s. Small-mag M16 replaced the M1s in the '70s, just in time for TV's 'SWAT' (1975) and the 'Dawn of the Dead' (1978).

Look at it this way - it is obviously a UK cop show set in the US, but hamstrung by tight-fisted budgetarians so the production designer couldn't afford proper rifle props. ;)
Awesome stuff. With those I could actually finish my Planet of The Simians project, possibly using the United Radionics heads for a more "ape-riot containment" look.
-
Some of those heads could start a pop group at the YMCA.... lol

Thanks for all the comments. Here's some more painted pics from Simon Bradley.

Blimey.

You're figures are made for Simons painting. Excellent. For Christmas I wish myself only one week without work and the talent of Simon. Enough Lead is in my hobby-room...
-
Had a cracking photography day taking some new pics for upcoming releases. Here's a little sample of the latest Lawmen:

Wow. The painting is fantastic. :o :o

Lovely paint job :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

Got some extra pics of the assembled Lawmen deals, so put this poster together for Crisis as we won't have them all painted in the cabinet. Each weapon deal of four figures comes with three head sprues of each hat type (4 heads per sprue) and the £30 set comes with all 16 figures AND four head sprues of each hat type! Bargain!

Damn you Perrotton, I'm not supposed to be buying anything at Crisis!
Any discount for former Constables of the Special variety?
See you in the bar at the hotel!
-
I got the full set - and realized when I got them that I would rather have had all hand weapons or batons. The M16s do nothing for me, can't see a use for them so they will sit in the trades pile I guess.
Probably buy more hand weapon types to get what I want.
They are very nice figures though, and I am happy with 12 of the 16 lol

Mwah-ha-ha!

Very clever set and nice sculpts, GREAT! ;)
-
They are gorgeous, but a figure with a pump-action shotgun would be so useful...
-
I just received these figures and I love them!
The lack of shotguns really bugged me though, so I dug thru my bits box to see what I could do.

Shotguns courtesy of The Assault Group. They still need a little bit of cleanup.
Now to decide what heads to use

Nicely done!
