Hi all.
Bob has had another one of his periodic ridiculous ideas, and is looking for some figures with a particular aesthetic.
I would like to source some cultist types, to fit in with my OOP Citadel Red Redemption lads.
Ideally they would have a similar old school feel to them, hopefully feature robes, cowls, and masks, and (this is the important bit) be armed with missile weapons, either crossbows or handguns for preference.
A little conversion would be possible as I only need half a dozen or so, but I'm really drawing a blank with my usual suspects for old school minis, Ral Partha, Foundry and of course, eBay.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

What about these fellows (http://lancerminiatures.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=123)?

A possibility, yes...
Might need a bit more conversion than I'm really planning but worth bearing in mind.
Thanks. :)

WestWind Brotherhood has several crossbowmen among them - easily to convert, I reckon.
New EOTD version:

Older Vampire Wars version:

Otherworld minis have a few - link (http://otherworldminiatures.co.uk/shop/men-of-evil/me2a-evil-acolytes-i-3/), although not missile armed.
There's the Frostgrave set, may be worth a look.

There are a couple of packs from Artizan Designs:

and

Weaponry may be a bit off, though: revolver, Thompson SMG, flamethrower; but probably convertible. Nice clean sculpts, all the hoods and robes and masks you could ask for...

Maybe Bob's Pulp Figures? Like in my Cult of Hastur for Bolt Action?

Eureka? A little smaller than some of the others. http://eurekamin.com.au/index.php?cPath=87_126_140&sort=3a Not armed but fit in size and style wise with the Artizan guys.

I may be able to find you some RR RR if they are of use

Crooked Dice has these:

And about half of North Star's "In Her Majesty's Name" Servants of Ra might fit the bill:

Ooooh! I'll have to harass Nic again!

SHQ have two packs of cultists. And there are the Frostgrave plastics. A bit big compared to Citadel, perhaps...

These guys should fit the bill.

Thanks for all the replies, some interesting options there to think about.
I'm not sure the more modern-styled ones would work, but a couple of the others might. :)
That said, I am now thinking along the lines of assassins and other sneaky types as a skirmish screen...
