Title: Victrix vs. Warlord?

I didn't buy minis in a couple of years - too many unpainted and not enough time.

But, with some recent releases I am thinking about a couple of boxes of ancient cavalry.

I have some Victrix Austrian, and think the scupts are not to great, but the more recent ancient packs look good.

So, what do you think? Victrix or Warlord?

I'd say Victrix myself. I'll be picking up the Numidian cavalry box.

Victrix personally but the two sets are from a very different time scale/set of wars, so it depends on what you are going to do with them.

Hard choice!!

The Warlord German cavalry (metal) look similar to their German foot - these are fine sculpts and paint up well.    The Victrix Spanish look very good - have not ordered the cavalry but their Spanish infantry are excellent.
