Great! Lovely models and terrain, and really nice to read both viewpoints.

Thanks for the wonderful pictures and reports. It was interesting that Tom raised an issue with the way card mechanics influence the game. It's very true that it leads to a very different game experience - but that's not totally a bad thing as it creates some constant dramatic tension in the game (who'll act first and what will that do?). That's especially the case in a small-scale skirmish game like Congo - I could see it being a bigger issue in a larger "traditional" wargame.
