Just a heads up for a kickstarter I launched to put some 28mm mushroom men and other fungi creatures into production. I'll add some pics here and a link.
cheers

Those are some lovely sculpts! Enough variety here to turn them into an entire Dragon Rampant army even! I must ask though is it me or have we seen like 3-4 other mushroom men miniatures beeing kickstarted the past few years? No complaint from me, just thought it was curious. I mean they really are springing up like mushrooms after the rain.
-
These are pretty damn cool. I may spring for a warband if I can raise the money from selling off other stuff. I love me some mushroom men, though I am starting to have a bit of kickstarter-fatigue.
-
Cool minis, useful and well-sculpted, but these?

Those are begging for tentacle hentai jokes to be made about them.

And he's funded! Well done Iain! :D
-
I kind of feel like they should be fighting the Quar.
-
Love these!
-
Superb work!

Just gone straight on and backed a warband (one of all the mushroom men packs) - absolutely love them, I've wanted to do a mushroom group for ages (really fun to paint).
-
Those are amazing. I'll have to see if I can adjust my KS budget.
-
Thanks for the comments! Thanks to all the backers who got this funded meaning these will be able to go into production. In the time that remains I'll be making more models to add to the campaign and I hope they'll prove popular additions.
I had some requests for a scale shot with all the figures together to show the relative sizes. Some pics have 28mm figures, Gripping Beast, Copplestone, and a viking I can't remember where from, but all what I would consider in the "normal" size range for 28mm.
I intended the standard size mushimen to be smaller than a human. Even though the small Mushimen come in at 25mm-28mm tall the low shoulders and eyes make them appear like a small foe.
Cheers

Those shrieker/violet fungi figs are very tempting as base models for alien kitbashing.
-
Yep they wouldn't look out of place on a pulpy sci-fi planet :)
I have a few new sculpts which will be added to the campaign later today. A second wizard type and a large brute with two-clubs.
Thanks for looking!
-
I've just upped my pledge - very excited for these, want the whole lot!
-
These are brilliant, I love them, so much character!
-
Thanks for the comments! 3 days left and some new models being added. Today I put on some Brain Spiders designed by my nephew Connor. Useful for sci-fi and post-apoc as well as fantasy. 2 Resin bodies with metal legs.
Thanks for looking!

Oh man those spiders have some character to them! :-*
-
Congrats! Just got the 'funded' email - I increased last night when I saw the archers added, know stoked there's archers too. I've wanted to start a non-traditional fantasy project for ages, so these are a good start!
-
Superb!
-
Thanks for the comments! Really happy to be getting these into production. Futher down the line I want to expand the range with pose variants for all the troop types and slug-rider cavalry!
-
Mine just pitched - really chuffed with them! Particularly love the bigger giant, he's great. I'm also please with the size - they could be used in 15mm, 20mm or 28mm really easily. Just in time to pop into my LPL queue!
-
Very nice, when will they be available for purchase (I missed the KS campaign... :? )
-
Must be getting close to going on retail sale, the last KS update on the 4th said they were about half shipped. Will certainly be picking up a few items when they do go on sale.
-
I received my Kickstarter package a couple days ago, they're really nice castings. I bought 10 Shreikers, some Violet Fungi branches, and the two brain spiders. Practically no cleanup on the resin.
-
Got mine a few weeks back, fantastic quality
-
Amy has received her miniatures and loves them, lovely sculpts and well cast.
-
Thanks for the comments and the great support for this campaign! The minis will be making their way to the website over the next few weeks.
Cheers!
-
A few more painted up and added to the warband!

Come on now. A fair number of those models could work for 3/6/15/18mm scale. How big is a Violent Fungus supposed to be, anyway? :)

Let us agree that we disagree because, nice as they are, such comments reinforce my decision.

Seeing those paint jobs, I may be seriously tempted!
