Shocking! Visit us online at https://www.cruciblecrush.com/cthulhu-28-s/
Buy all three box sets and get the shipping for free! Not sold as singles.
All figures are 28mm scale white metal. They come with their own bases and plastic bases. All three kits include a large resin piece.
Sculpted by Bob Murch of Pulp Figures and RAFM Cthulhu Miniatures fame.

Those investigators look great.
-
Beautiful work, far better than the newer CoC figs from the Rafm KS. If I had a spare $150 I'd be all over those.
-
It's only $49 for one box. Plus shipping of course. ;)
-
Nice figures, too rich for my budget though. Must be a Murch tradition that there's at least one figure in every pack/box that makes you think, 'Huh?' In Arkham Investigators 1 it's definitely the trumpet player. If I'm out hunting beasties the last thing I need is a man with a trumpet.
-
Aaaaaaaaand..... Ordered.

You mean you've never heard of the Elder Gods' aversion to jazz trumpet solos?

But the guitarist is fine?

I don't think the trumpet player is an investigator...

Hello
Think its more the idea of normal life persons confronted with the Mythos.
Think of Arkham Horror Boardgame.
The magican...musician...outcast...and so on..
I really love those minis.
-
@Mitchelxen
Would like to order the set.
How long will this offer last....
Have to admit October was an expensive month..
Will those minis available at northstar or sally4th..
Have no real problem ordering in Canada.
But hate to pay customs and have to drive 1hour to pick it up at customs department.
The biggest problem is time..my orders from bob took 2 weeks to 4 months...one even never arrived...hate this wait.
Will definitly order with you if the offer last till next week...but thinking even about 2 sets and if the minis will be available in the uk ( before brexit :) ) i will wait with the second set.
Kind regards
Florian

But the guitarist is fine?
Guitarist is Silver John if I am not mistaken. He makes his living on busting up occult evil with just his silver string guitar and a copy of the Long Lost Friend.
Wish I could buy them in smaller sets.
-

There's no point in just getting one set, especially when the shipping is free for all three. Go big or go home.
If I'm out hunting beasties the last thing I need is a man with a trumpet.
Agreed. Music soothes the savage shoggoth and all, but you really want a saxophone for that sort of thing. Slide trombones are very good against leng spiders, though. Got have the right instrument for the job. :)
But the guitarist is fine?
Let me refer you to Wellman's writings. If his name is John and the guitar's strung with silver, Cthulhu himself would think twice about taking him on.
-
Glad you folks are picking up on the Silver John tribute. A box of John's enemies might be in the offing. Oh Ugly Bird....
-
@harleyface
The offer will be good until November 15th when shipping begins.
You can add another $10 and I will ship them airmail to you if you want. That would take ten days.
I can't do anything about Customs. Sorry.
-
Hello
Thank you for your answears.
Will contact you by email regarding airmail in some days.
Well...a european retailer works fantastic avoiding customs lol
Kind regards
Florian

The EU and Canada have just signed a trade agreement so customs may never be a problem again, or at least not for 2 years or so.

To put it mildly, I would be happy to see more of Wellman's idea's translated to metal. One of the most under-read authors of his generation these days.

I am not sure, exactly WHEN the CETA takes effect, though..?

@Mitchelxen
Hello
Tryed to contact you but web.de doesnt find your email adress. Also wrote pm.
Just wanted to tell you that i would like to order 2 sets.
One set airmail including the extra shipping.
The other one normal shipping.
Think two parcels are better regarding the weight and the still uncertain customs situation.
Kind regards
Florian

A few of these figures are just slightly modified models from Pulp Figures. Still, they are pretty interesting and, if I can scratch the money, I’ll buy the 3 sets… even if just for the fun of painting them :D
-
I picked up the Masters of Devil Reef fishmen set earlier this year - Bob had a few pre-release sets at Vancouver's Trumpeter Salute.
They're fantastic sculpts, I've had a lot of fun painting them up! They're almost finished, I'll get some pics and make a post here sometime soon.
Already planning next year's Trumpeter Salute scenario - I think it'll be multiple gangs of fishmen and other Dagon worshippers trying to get back one of the great treasures of Dagon that's been found/stolen then hidden by a human adventurer who went insane shortly thereafter.
Immortal Brethern of Dagon vs Enternal Dagonite Fellowship vs Great Cult of Dagon with really confused and being-driven-insane human randoms caught in the middle on a dark and foggy night in a harbour district somewhere!

Sounds great, hope to see pics, and the full scenario/layout briefing. (good inspiration is hard to find... :) )
I've ordered a complete set (or two), will be nice additions to my Cthulhu/SA and Pulp themes.

Last day for the special. Get these news figures with free shipping for the next 24 hours only!

I don't think the trumpet player is an investigator...
The trumpet player is a very nice interpretation of Jim Culver, an investigator in FFG Arkham Horror and Mansions of Madness boardgames.
The other figures - nicely done, BTW - can fit the descriptions of others of the 48 investigators of those games, I very clever idea IMHO!
I think that those are the best CoC-specific miniatures in the market today! ;)
-
Has anyone received their minis yet?
-
I'm saving my coins so I can purchase all three sets. Cool stuff.
-
Has anyone received their minis yet?
I have not...
-
I have not...
Not yet - I ordered November 12
-
Am interested in ordering these, but I don't think I will considering it appears a few people haven't received theirs yet.. I will watch with interest.
-
But the guitarist is fine?
That's Silver John!
EDIT: whoops I was beaten to the punch several times over ...
Saw Mr. Murch selling these along with the gorgeous Flint and Feather minis back at H-Con this past summer but was already "on a mission" for some other goodies. I ordered the Deep One set back on December 1 and never heard a thing until the day after Christmas, when I wrote an email enquiring and was shocked to see a reply back within hours. The gist was, there had been some delays and the package would go out as soon as the PO opened back up. I have been travelling over the holidays and don't know if they arrived yet, will report in as/when.
-
Arrived home and they were indeed waiting for me. The metal guys look great but the big resin fella is going to need some work.
-
I also ordered all three sets and they were waiting for me here when I returned home an hour ago !
They are all very lovely sculpts ! The Resin Interdimensional gate is spectacular.
But the VERY best is the Cthulhu plinth. That sculpt is SO LOVELY it takes my breath away. The single photo does NOT do it justice. What a gorgeous piece !!
Silver John looks great. When these were announced a couple of months back, I heard about Silver John for the first time, and immediately ordered "The Old Gods Waken" the first in the 'silver John' series, and eagerly read it.
Yowee, what a pile of carp it is !! NEVER in my life have I read a story with a more hokey, LESS SATISFYING Deus Ex Machina ending ! I will never consider that lousy author again. I usually pass books along to friends or libraries, but I made certain that "The Old Gods Waken" went DEEP into the Dumpster, under slimy things so that it would never be retrieved.
I might advise not wasting your time on the Silver John books.
-
Thanks for letting us know folks! Will definitely be grabbing these when I am able.
-
I had a similar experience with The Old Gods Waken. I did like the dialect, which rang true to how some of my older relatives speak. But the plot was a weak thread strung with bland cliches. I'd give Wellman another try but that book was pretty so-so. As a serials protagonist, John has a lot of potential. The mini from Mr. Murch looks cool, too.
-
Mine arrived today - very nice.
-
Mine just arrived in France. Lovely figures. nicely packed in DVD boxes. You can tell it's Bob Murch's work at first look. The deep ones are surely among the best available (and there are lots of them).
-
Hoping kine come soon!
-
Still looking for mine...
-
I ordered just after Christmas, and while I understand it will take a while for the actual product to reach me( I live in the UK), I've had no communication from them regarding my order despite contacting them 3 times through FB so far. Money has been deducted from PAYPAL. Just want to know that my order is being processed. Any suggestions? Is this common with them?
Cheers
-
I would send an email. I got a reply very promptly.

I ordered 12 November and they arrived 9 Jan - I live in Guernsey, CI - I would suggest if you ordered after Christmas you give them a little longer before becoming too despondent

Thanks. As I mentioned in my post, I understand the time it takes to ship and arrive; it was the lack of response to my communications that concerned me. Just a confirmation that the order had been received.

Ok. Will send them an e-mail. Just found the address. :)
-
Can i ask again will there be a seller in the UK in the future, postal rates and service Iam very concerned with also we get taxed bad now always on anything from overseas
-

-
Ordered October 31st and still nothing. :-[
-
They have arrived! Helluva long wait but they are beautiful sculpts. The gate is indeed awesome:)
-

Thank you...
But when my next order is delayed please just write a short email...pleeeeeease :D
-
What was the shipped date, Harleyface?
-
I really "NEED" to get these at some point! lol
-
"Need" is not too strong a word for these Deep Ones.
