Bonjour Olicana,

Spiffing as ever.

Particularly like the large timber-framed buildings.

Could you say where you got them from?

Cheers,

Paul

All home made. The church and small building in the town are old ones made of mounting card and thinner card. The inn is a much newer building made from MDF with balsa wood timber framing and 'bricks'; and uses applique doors, windows, etc. by War Bases; with the usual thin card 'tile' roof. The WB bits have been a god send as they decrease building time by half and give the buildings a much more 'commercially produced' look.

BTW, the rough wall finish is obtained using a tube of heavy body artists acrylic paint - it doesn't 'flake' like plaster filler can, it sticks like s**t.

A few of the newer ones with WB bits:

Just boxes with bits stuck on.
