The best way to get some variation into a group of Daleks is to vary the position of the headpiece and eyestalk. It looks like that will be a pain in the arse to do, given the way these assemble.
Found on Wargames News and Terrain, because even though I signed up for it, I have never received one of Warlord's Doctor Who newsletters.

That is indeed an annoying sprue layout. Still some possibility of cutting and repositioning the dome/eyestalk, but more of a nuisance than it could have been.

They actually look decent and I could see myself getting a set, and I don't really care for Dr Who!
-
They just look like refined versions of the ones from the front of the Dr Who magazine.
They are nice miniatures but I think they have gone for snap fit to just get them table ready quickly.
If people want to get a bit of variety from them, they'd just need a razor saw and some glue... not too difficult.
They certainly look beefy :)

Look fine to me, I can see myself getting them.

Just from a technical standpoint I'm impressed they managed to do Daleks in 3 parts like this. Pretty interesting break up of the shape. I would say smart but that remains to be seen if it actually works out in practice.

Have to say I expected a modern rework of the old citadel sprue styling.

That would allow for pivoting the daleks nicely, especially with separate stalks/plungers. Not much of a step up from the magazine plastic freebie miniss. A bit crisper but still monopose.

I agree, but I have to say I'm still impressed with the crisp detail. If they are reasonably priced I could see these being on my Xmas wishlist (despite all the DWA iDaleks I've got stashed).

Once they do the Spike Milligan Dalek from Q6 I'm in.
-
I've never received any newsletters despite signing up-twice.
These look good [though the layout is odd] and I'm hoping they will look ok next to my Microuniverse ones. I'm always a sucker for more Daleks, but I don't want to have to replace what I've got.

Any news on when these will go on sale? You have to think Warlords are burning money the longer it takes to get them on to the shelves.
