Hello, gang -
My first historical request for the Wargames Factory Liberty and Union League has been posted. I requested Judaean Rebels in 28mm. I think the possibilities for these guys are endless, especially for Ancient skirmish purposes...
Would you consider supporting the cause?

Thanks!
Still waiting on my other submission - WW2 Japanese Zombies, to pop up;)

Ungrateful wretches, you! Considering what the Romans brought you, the sanitation, the medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, the fresh-water system and public health and peace!
lol
-
RIGHT, but other than THAT, what have the Romans ever done for us?!!

They civilized the British so that they nowadays could theoretically make plastic models of Judaean Resistance Fighters. lol

ROMANORUM VADO DOMUS
i wasn't thinking of this era for a while. but i am thinking of doing so now.

ROMANORUM VADO DOMUS
Vocative plural of "Romanus" is?
Er, er, "Romani" !
[Writes "Romani" over Brian's graffiti] "Eunt"? What is "eunt"? Conjugate the verb, "to go" !
Er, "Ire". Er, "eo", "is", "it", "imus", "itis", "eunt".
So, "eunt" is...?
Third person plural present indicative, "they go".
But, "Romans, go home" is an order. So you must use...?
The imperative !
Centurion: Which is...?
Aaaagh ! Er, er, "i" !
Centurion: How many Romans?
Aaaaagh ! Plural, plural, er, "ite" !
"Domus"? Nominative? "Go home" is motion towards, isn't it?
Dative !
Aaagh ! Not the dative, not the dative ! Er, er, accusative, "Domum" !
But "Domus" takes the locative, which is...?
Brian: Er, "Domum" !
Understand? Now, write it out a hundred times.
Brian: Yes sir. Thank you, sir. Hail Caesar, sir.
Hail Caesar ! And if it's not done by sunrise, I'll cut your balls off.

lol Ha Ha
Some people are just show offs. Quoting whole scenes for the film.
That's it I am going to find the whole script and post that or by the looks of this thread I could just wait a few days and it would all be here. ;)

Yeah, go and sit on the Naughty Step for a while, Commander Vyper. It's bad enough that we've all been boorishly quoting Python like a bunch of students who think they are the first people in the world to discover it, but you just went beyond the pale.
And you can't have any cake while you're there, either, so don't bother asking. lol
