Well. I know I make and paint a lot of stuff, but I like to use it, and my wife would have a fit if I asked to display kits that huge.........

I love these Mega Models. What I dn't love is the hour I have just spent looking at all the fine pictures on the website when I should be working.

Sheer, glorious and magnificant insanity!

To quote my favorite line from "Cow & Chicken" (oh, how I miss you): Well shave my legs and call me gran'pa!
Amazing!

Well, scale ship modelers! What did you expect! Those are a totally loony bunch. I mean, those folks buy their cars to be big enough to transport their ship models, not vice versa! ;)
*/just the usual grumbling from one who never had the nerve to pull such a project through*

But its too damn small for 28mm figures!
-
Does anyone catched the dimensions specially the length! I could not find it!
Well 423 figures on it, I bet he has not modellled the hospital! By the way what was the average crew size of these vessels?
And I call myself a megalomaniac!
Impressive work whatsoever!

If it is indeed accurate 1/72nd scale, then it should be just a bit more than 2 metres long.

Since this is a model of an escort carrier (converted from merchant ship hulls), the 423 figure is not too far off the historical complement of ~550.

That's a bit good :o :-*
