Title: Setting the East Ablaze basing size
Post by: Sir Rodney Ffing on 07 November 2016, 02:17:39 PM
Some advice please gentlemen.

I am basing my Copplestone infantry on 25mm circular bases.  What have players found to be a good size for cavalry, based singly?  Presumably this will be the same for regular and irregular cavalry, but if any one has the wisdom of experience on this suggesting a different approach please let me know.

Thanks in anticipation.

Warbases make 50 x 25 (mm) Pill bases, I find them excellent for horses/cavalry.

Ditto.  Actually been basing some Chinese BoB Cavalry on them this afternoon

Thanks chaps.  I am a big fan of Warbases and was already planning to buy from them if they had (or would make) something suitable.

Agreed. 50mm x 25mm seems to be the standard.

A convincing 3-0 win for 50mm x 25mm.  My mind is now at peace and I can order with confidence.  Thanks chaps.

If you want to Rank them up 50x25mm is the way to go. For Single Models or skirmishing cavalry 40mm and 50mm round bases also Look Good.

Not 50 x 25?  I will take that as official then!
