If you do, then maybe these 22x7mm beads I found by accident could work for you:

Just a suggestion that might work for you, or for someone you know.

PS. Or if you're doing 15mm, then perhaps for an exotic colonnade?

Great find!

Great find, thank you very much for sharing! ;)

Those do look handy. Thanks for the link. Saves a lot of time picking through the bead aisle at the local craft store.
-
And you can't beat that price either! :)
Since they are plastic, it should be easy to drill for a post or axle. Glad to share always.

Haven't seen anything quite like them, and spend a good deal of time looking through the bead section. So many jars and barrels for exotic marketplaces!
Thanks, Dan!

Good find! :)

Warning: eBay pictures evaporate like snow in the sun...
While I'm not recommending for price, the same seller shows a pretty good example of a bead for 'trader jar':

Be sure to arrainge several different ones to cover the flawed sides.
Propeller?

well, check out the reverse:

I SAID I spent a lot of time in those aisles...

Doug, great finds, thank you for sharing! I am also a strong prospector of DIY and craft stores, where one can find all kinds of useful stuff! ;) And it is very funny when the clerk girls see you take a 28mm figure from the pocket for scale comparison! lol

I find it helps if you talk to your scale figure. Loudly. Asking it if it approves of your potential purchase.
-
OMG! I'm glad I haven't gotten to that point. I only whisper to the figure, and only when we're alone. :)
And to Beast ... those propellers are incredible!!!
PS. Could these others be used for something? All that comes to mind is drums, as amphorae or as small search lights:

How could I not do it? ;)

I think they can be used as drums, as amphorae or as small search lights, IMHO! ;)

I never talk to my figures; they get very upset when I interrupt... :-X

Exactly! That's the spirit!
