Title: Coventry armored car?
Post by: seamoose on 21 November 2016, 05:08:52 PM
Does anyone know of a manufacturer who produces the Coventry in 1/56 or 1/48?

Nope, it's a matter of scratchbuilding your own. Unlikely to see a model in either scale due to its relative obscurity.

Damn, I was really hoping someone out tgere made one i could add to collection of stuff for Indochina. Maybe it will be added to JTFM's after '45 range at some point.

Well, as it's dimensions & outline are so similar to the Daimler, you could always convert one of the existing models - WG  for 1/56.

It would be quite a bit of work but at least you would have a start point: gun, chassis and wheels. Bandai for 1/48. Plastic kit would be easier than carving resin.

If you're not too fussy then you could get by with the Daimler turret. I feel your pain, since I'd like a 1/100 version. There's a 1/72 resin kit but nothing in other scales that I'm aware of.
