Title: Mongoose Babylon 5 miniatures? (figs, not ships)
Post by: Schogun on February 14, 2009, 02:20:40 PM
Probably long gone, but might anyone know the whereabouts of a Vorlon box set for purchase? For that matter, there were box sets of Centauri, Minbari, Narn and Earth Force, too. Any around?

I've been looking for the Vorlons and can't find any either.

Iron Wind Metals picked up the Spacecraft minis, but not the characters it seems.

Cheers for that Auton, I'll have to drop them an email.

Thanks.

Thanks, Auton. I found that link, but wasn't sure if they really had them in stock or if the entry was a legacy item. Wouldn't hurt to end an email, eh? Unless Revford gets to them first...  ;)

With a bit of luck, there will be plenty for both of us.  :)

That's good! Let me know if they have a Centauri set available, I may well pick it up  :)

I got my Vorlon box set on eBay about five months ago. They pop up occasionally.

Schogun, did you get your Vorlon box in the end?

I didn't pursue it any further. Cost mainly -- approx. $30 per box plus shipping to the US.

But I'm still interested. I'm currently watching the show from beginning to end. I'm near the end of Season 3 right now. What a great show!

Hey Schogun
I did the same thing when I traveled a year back. Nothing like getting a few episodes on the plane and then sneaking in a few more before sleep. Kinda stinks that all the good ones get canceled.
 :-[

Even the movies to wrap things up and intro were darn good!

Hope you find them my friend.

Mac

I picked up the complete Babylon 5 boxed set, it was going cheap on Amazon around new year.

We've got about half way though Season 4 so far.  :)

It was too tempting for me, my box of Vorlons arrived the other day.

I just finished Season 3. Off to the library on Monday for Season 4.

FYI -- Seasons 1 and 2 are available to watch for free at www.hulu.com

Hulu only works in the USA sadly, it's a shame as there is some good stuff on there.

I watched B5 when it was on the first time around, it's nice to see how well it stands up today.

As for the minis, already I've plans for one of these Vorlons to be an intergalactic lawyer for a Doctor Who adventure, it just seems so unfair to have a Vorlon as your legal representation.  :)

revford -- looks like you got the last box of Vorlons.   :-(

As they say, "He who hesitates, has lost"... and I hesitated.
