Post by: olyreed on 25 November 2016, 05:47:28 PM
What's the best stuff to use for snow effects, especially to add to buildings and terrain?

I have recently used this product on my Arctic terrain boards.

It produces this sort of effect.

You can use a small pallette knife to apply it and then use a stiff brush to stipple it to produce the right effect you need.

Here is an example.

For half melted snow it worked a treat.
Hope that helps.
Snitchy sends.

I use the Woodland Scenics Snow with a little bit of white glitter to add a flash/shine.

One thing to be aware off - DO NOT (NOT NOT NOT) use wood glue - mine went brown and I am still rebasing.  Make sure anything you stick it down with will not colour...
