Title: Mantic TWD Figure Comparison?
Post by: Silent Invader on November 28, 2016, 11:52:23 AM
I've searched the interwebz to no avail and so am wondering if anyone help me out with a size comparison of the Mantic TWD:AOW survivor minis, preferably alongside Warlord Project Z survivors. I've seen/heard comments where they are referred to as 20s, 25s, 28s and heroic 28s!

Also, can anyone tell me what sort of plastic they are made from. I've heard/read PVC (which I always think of as soft) and also hard plastic (styrene, like the Perry and Warlord plastics?).

Thanks  :)

Really bad images but;

WGF old Z, TWD, WGF New Z, TWD, WGF Female, WGF Male

Copplestone, TWD, WGF Male

Hopefully gives you a bit of an idea. Height wise the WGf survivors are ok, but he proportions are much less heroic (though the weapons aren't actually that off). Mixed they look 'ok'.

Zs Work ok but not the old Zombie Horde things.

Damn. When they called 30mm I sadly went for Wargames Factory and Hasslefree for all my (Z-)apoc stuff.

Seems like a almost perfect fit with Copplestone.

And the Kickstarter version has just became unavailable as well...
