Just what our thirsty troops need!
-
A perfect addition to my 'baggage train'......splendid!
-
Shame, I'd love to see 'em, but can't do so without joining the group.
-
here they are

Saw these on Facebook...very nice!

That's very cool 8)

Definitely see these chaps as the centrepiece of a really nice vignette

The pictures also appear on the Iron Duke website's workbench section, where you can see pics of the upcoming cavalry horses as well :

Even more tantalizing... :o

"Here's a couple of the infantry dollies we have in hand at present, destined in this case to end up as codes of 'matchlockmen'."

Me want!

And if you allow me a little wish-list. Hey, it's Santa Claus day in our region so I'm allowed to dream a bit.
Please don't think of this as even the slightest whiff of criticism. It's simply boyish anticipation.
And only for the first chapter Allahabad.
Sepoys in regular summer dress ( so they can be used as loyal sepoys)
Same in full dress (coatee and trousers, no tulwars or dhoti's) again useful for both sides.
The cavalry seems to be sorted out with presumably mutineer Light cavalry and perhaps 'gentlemen cavalry groups'?
Badmashes and local matchlock men seem well in hand too.
Perhaps some more European units in their service dress (60th Rifles, Carabineers, Bengal Horse artillery) as well as armed civilians for Meerut, Arrah and other besieged places.

Nice useful figures.
-
The 'Matchlock' dollies where the most fun to do so far. Can't wait to get started and add some character to them.
-
awesome additions

I definitely can't see why you couldn't use them for a later period.
-
LOVE the water carriers !
Actually, I love most anything colonial sculpted by Paul Hicks.

I'm certainly going to add mine to my nascent NWF collection for use from the 1870's onwards?
-
