Been putting together some of the new cars from Eureka Miniatures for a VBCW BUF force for Bolt Action. These are very nice pieces, now looking for some BUF decals.

Lovely :-* :-* :-*
Some serious firepower on those!
-
Sweet!
I must get some of those when they are available!
-
They do look really good 😊
-
Nic's had some fantastic drivers and gunners made for those!
-
I second Fram on the drivers and gunners!! :-* :-*

I have been using WW1 and WW2 plane decals for detailing the cars.
If you see us at Cancon, Uncle Les will probably have some with him.

This. The cars I can do without but the gunners and drivers I crave.
-
Those are awesome, though I have a strange urge to replace the humans with orks lol
-
Agree with Hammers - would love to buy the metal castings seperately - for ships and planes
-
Add my vote to those of Hammers and Von Stroheim - please produce the figures separately
-
The figures are available separately.
Drop me a line at Eureka, and I'll send you a list.
Cheers

The Road Warrior back-dated 60 years or so!
-
Delightfully silly. Have an almost dieselpunk vibe.
-
Those are awesome
-
I like it (them? those?).
Luckily for my purse, I have no purpose to use them for (at least for now), but, damn... :-*
-
When are these wonderful creations going on sell? When can we get them in the UK as I have a specialists unit in mind for them for VBCW
-
Any news on these fantastic creations at all?
-
Oooh I just discovered this thread and these drivers, gunners, and pilots, for whom I could find some use in Pulp, BoB, or SCW adventures etc. :o
-
Wow!! Very nice indeed and the crew look soooo manic!! Brilliant!! :)
-
As Scurvy says we have just received the new versions of the cars and they do look wonderful. I hope to have some with me at Salute and to get them on the web site shortly afterwards.
Anyone who wants some of the existing models, please get in touch with me at Eureka.

Oh hey, I completely missed this thread up to now. Some parts by yours truly on those first pictures in fact. :D
Like Scurv Said, I have re-done the bodies for Nic which should be at the casters by now, so the final product is going to vary, including some more detailed grills with modular options. :D but here are some pictures of my versions of the original cars.

The fairings/wheel well covers on that one originally were just a personal project, but have also found their way to Nic. :D
Huascar, your build images show a couple of guns I don't recognize. Did you get those from Nic as well or were they your own additions? I like the variety of weaponry on display.

Lovely!!
Some nice British racing green there
-
Got a couple of sets of the cars. Lovely stuff. Didn't get any mud guards though. Will they be available to buy seperately does anyone know?
Also, what is the difference between the new and old style cars?

The mud guards are actually a design by Scurv, made to go specifically with the buggy he 3d designed. I printed them and got a couple of casts as part of the feedback process and discovered they work really well with the cars in general. I'm not sure if Nic is planning to include them with any of the standard sets or options, but he is a very approachable guy and I'm sure if you email him he will sort you out.
As for the new bodies. Basically, they are re-does of the original ones which were hand sculpted. Their proportions are generally the same but they are a bit more detailed with more period accurate hoods. I'm particularly happy with how the grills turned out, the new grills are inset rather than proud and function as a plug hole for a modular system where you can pick from 3 more distinct grills.
There should also be a very cool "hero car" coming in the form of the golden arrow land speed record vehicle. It was a bit of a pain to design but I think it will ook really cool on the table.

Nice colour choice.
-
Love the Orange paint job ,did you have to resist putting 01 on the side lol
-
That is the tits and I love that monster grille. That sucker is ready to mow goons down.

Yeah I was very happy with how that turned out, I think I'm going to make a 30's bat mobile with that one myself!
-
Any time scale as to the releases?
-
We should have some ready for Salute and then hopefully a release shortly after we get back to Melbourne.
Love what Scurv did with the Car In Orange

Do post pictures of your work!

I almost got my twin seater finished but then I got a kidney stone and have instead been writhing in utter pain.
Oooh, you poor sod!

Nick has said there are motorbikes on the drawing board. I'm really rather liking the look of this range.

Yes! There's a terrible shortage of 30's style motorbikes in proper scale.
-
I've decided I need some of these:

Need.

Hah. Just realised that was taken in the Eureka store, and that's Nic standing off to the left out of focus and in blue :D
-
You mean I look like a bottle of water?
Nic

Nic
I was going to say, lot more of a bottle figure than the last time I saw you. lol
-
Just like water we need you to stay alive. So yes.
-
Are these models available yet?
Don't need the cars so much, but the crew figures have a multitude of uses for me :D
-
Don't mean to hijack the thread but I found an old lledo car in an op shop here that's tires had come off. With a bit of brass wire and the new Eureka wheels I was able to restore it, it now just needs some paint and a ww1 French driver and it could head straight for the Marne!

Oh excellent! Vodkafan and I have been doing similar things using reclaimed Matchbox wheels on Lledo bodies, but it's a right pain to find them in the right size. It's great to know that the simpler option is there to just order wheels from Nic.
-
Sorry to bump this page after such a long time, but I'd really like to pick up some of these fantastic cars!
Does anyone know if there is a UK supplier of these at all, please?
Thanks alot
-
Fighting 15s should have them in the next few weeks:

Great news, thanks a lot.
Are there any of the minis like Maximillian going to be available?
-
I would guess so.
