Could anyone point out a manufacturer who makes this iconic assault rifle in 28mm scale? My Google-Fu has failed me in this matter.

Foundry should have them in their 'Street Violence' range.
The blisters used to come with a couple of extra/spare weapons included. They don't seem to sell them on their own, though. :?

Empress' Modern Australian/ New Zealanders have them too (including variants).
Depends on what you want them for though. A few models in Foundry's Street Violence range also have them, but they're more gangster types than soldiers.
Hasslefree has loose ones, but they were pulled from sale (actually I'm not sure if they were ever released - Kev White complained that other companies were stealing them for their own casts - thus why you don't find many high quality loose weapons on the market ...at least according to him. He has a big bag of loose guns he keeps for his own models sitting about FYI ...which he slaps your hand away from when you try and nick a few ;)). You may come across them on Ebay, but that's doubtful.

Thanks all... Looks like I'm committed to either sculpting them myself, or putting an arm on one of my acquaintances who work in the rapid-prototyping industry to do high-detail RP models... Either way, this won't happen fast.
There goes my dream of fielding a group of S-A armed Swiss Guards for an upcoming convention's "Zombie Run" event.

Try sending Foundry an email and see if they can sort you out?
