Title: Kpok's Relicblade
Post by: Kpok on 15 December 2016, 10:39:12 AM
Recently I got hooked by the great Relicblade ruleset and digged through my lead pile in search for suitable miniatures.
The first miniature I found was the druid in human form. The base is obviously wip.

more to come

Wow, that is a great looking druid!  Love the sculpt.

Glad to add another person to Relicblade,  it has become my favorite fantasy rules set.

Started work on the second character. The clerik.

But i am not really convinced about the green skin, so I made a quick colour swap with GIMP.

What do you think? Green or gray?

I also made my first custom card. A mage.

Great work on that Mage card, your results at making custom cards put my own efforts to shame!  lol
Anyhow I would love to see anymore character cards that you decide to make, its always fun to what custom characters people come up with!

Thank you.
Skin question... 1:1  :D
At the moment the clerik is still green.

But I finished the mage miniature. Not the best photo I know, but you get the point.

(Looking at the picture I realize that I have to redo the eyes.)

Oooh, I like the mage card. And the figure is very cool too!

The eel sorcerer character has a spell called Eldritch Bolt, Range 10, Dif:4 +3. Which is super good.

I like the idea of blizzard though. It would be cool to have the bind effect hit models within 1" of the target too. But I'm not sure how you'd word the rule on the card.

The blink ability is really useful. I find armor one wizards get destroyed really easily.

This is giving me a lot of fun ideas for the wizard expansion I have planned.  :)

Time to resurrect this thread.
First of all, thank you for the nice replies.
The mage is loosly based on my wifes WoW character wich we played back in the day.
Last Weekend I received my order from Metal King Studio.
Nice service and fast delivery. USA -> Germany in 7 days, great.
So in the next weeks you could expect some painted miniatures from the starter set.

Curse you, photobucket.  So many dead images.  What I can see looks good.

Really need to do some Relicblade figs, they've got some great sculpts and the rules look very good.
