I never took the opportunity to play Blood Bowl back when I started collecting Games Workshop stuff and always wished I had. With the new edition of the game I plunged right in buying all of the releases that were available to preorder. After a shaky start with the post office neglecting to deliver my parcel (they failed to let me know it had been sat at the collection office for two weeks), I finally had the parcel in my hands.
As I love all things Orc and the new models are really great, I decided to start with them. I was tempted to paint them with red armour as I do with my 4th edition orcs but went with yellow in the end. I'm quite happy with how this test mini turned out.

Yellow is hard to do well but that looks good!
The freehand checkerboard look very orc-y too. That random shoulder spike looks like he's stick it in his own ear moving his arm around, though...

Oh man! That looks great.
I think I'll get into Blood Bowl at some point, and build a proper team, but too many irons in the fire right now.
I really like that yellow armor. It really pops nicely.
Can't wait to see more.

Very good.

Nice greenskin - almost makes me want to dust off my 'Eadbangerz lol

Very nice!

Not gonna buy the new game, but all this buzz about has me itching to finally paint my Norse team.
The new sculpts do look nice though. I might at some point pick up a new team. All the once I have now are converted.
You did a lovely job. The bright yellow really shines. I Painted a mostly yellow model myseff just yesterdad and it doesn't look nearly as clean.

That's a great paint job - darn it, I too am now itching to unearth my old BB teams.

Nice colourscheme nicely executed. Bloodbowl was always a favourite. I could do with repainting some of my old teams from (many) years ago.

very good start

That looks great!

The new blood Bowl looks great and is mightily tempting, even though I decided a few years ago that me and BB were done (I enjoy the game in theory but I find the actual matches a tad too long and unsuited to my temperament!)
I wasn't a fan of the new minis but seeing your Orc thrower I'm revising my opinion. Looks fantastic! And the yellow really looks great.

Threadomancy time. Got very distracted as always between projects. Only just started to pick back up with my Blood Bowl stuff. At this rate I might have a fully playable team in 3 years lol
-
That's very cool. I love the highlighting.

Very effective. I really like your colour palette.

Nice and Bad Moon-y. Love it, and very well executed.

Very nice orcs Gutbukkit!
The checkered pattern and bright yellow are classic. Good work.
