We are halfway into the Liche Lord campaign and I have a pretty solid warband but I want a "luxury" member for it - one that will add other dimensions other than just slugging better or not dying as quickly. I have all the books so access to stats for all the "new" bods - whose the most fun?

For me the Captain. He brings the most fun to the game and has all kinds of options. And it feel cooler to play him in a more RPG-way as you get XP.

I used a Captain in our last campaign and, yes, the narrative built around his adventures was interesting (he died the first three times out!) but did find him a drain on resources - if nothing else pops up then I will use one

Crow Master has quite distinct feel to it. One player in our campaign used a Crow Master, though I have to admit that it was the bird that kind of took the spotlight there. I liked using Bard, mostly because I had this gorgeous model for it. That +1 to Will rolls did not come into play that often, so I'm not sure if Bard would feel like it's playing that differently.
Assassin from the new book looks like it might feel functionally a little different from the rest.

The demonhunter is the most badass dude you can get in the newest book... great weapon and crossbow what is not to love...

A pack mule carrying 3 explosive cocktails.
He was great in the Final Battle. :)

I love my captain, lo that he has died twice and costs some coin. He provides some versatility that is awesome. There is a mental component with that, as well, when it comes to your opponent.
I just got a Demon Hunter and he does pack a lot of heat. The summoner that I played against treated him with a healthy dose of respect.
