Title: DIY Card Shoe/Deck Holder
Post by: Argonor on 27 December 2016, 02:45:35 PM
I do not own a 3D-printer, otherwise I would have made this from plastic.

As it is, it had to be made the old-fashioned way, scratch-built from card-stock.

This was made for the Star Wars Armada Damage Deck (it is very tall, because I have two starter sets, and dunno if I am going to use both at a later point).

I am already working on an improved design (not the final one though), involving more glue, and possibly less scotch tape, for my Strange Aeons Solo Play Deck.

My blog contains a few more details on the matter - but I intend to do a more comprehensive guide later - so don't be disappointed by the lack of detailed information at this point.

The above was sized to hold FFG Yellow Sleeves - here is one to fit FFG Grey Sleeves:

View from the back shows some of the cardboard tabs I used to assemble the deck holder.
