Title: Holiday painting: goblin on giant bird
Post by: James Holloway on December 29, 2016, 10:37:44 AM
On Boxing Day I finished this "Goblin Lord on Giant Bird," a Rafm model. Oakbound Games carries them in the UK. I wanted it for its cool, characterful mount, and I think it came out OK, although as always the photo is showing me some things I might go back and change. More details on the blog: http://gonzohistorygaming.blogspot.co.uk/2016/12/holiday-painting-update-2-rafm-goblin.html

Apologies for the photo quality, but hopefully you get the idea.

UBERCOOL! Big Bird & Goblin Trooper painted up BEAUTIFULLY. OUTSTANDING WORK!
I have a couple of packs of those fellows lurking in the Vault. Thanks for reminding me that they are there.

Picture is way too big! Difficult to make comments on ultra magnified paintwork.

Hmmm. Part of it is probably just blogger hosting the image at original size. Let me see if I can edit.

Great stuff! Rafm did/do some terrific stuff - the reptiliads (both versions) stand out, but their orcs/goblin ranges include some real gems too. This is one of them, and you've certainly done him justice!
