Title: Army painter question
Post by: commissarmoody on 19 February 2009, 10:05:31 AM
Are there any army painter primer colours that would do for khaki. I have tons of British Crown forces that need to be painted and that might save me a few hours.

They do leather brown or desert yellow and skeletal bon ebut that may be to light, depends on the khaki you are going for as they also do Army green too.

hope that helps

I use GW Ogre Flesh Spray as undercoat for my Khaki - it being easy to buy locally as opposed to waiting for mail order when you run out - normally half way thru a batch of figs.

Just this week I found Valspar flat dark brown spray paint .at Lowe's. I haven't tried it yet, but dark brown would be a good shade for khaki.
