Title: Unfeasibly Miniatures/Mark Lowther: any sightings?
Post by: sjwalker51 on 05 January 2017, 06:28:15 PM
Hope this is the appropriate board on which to paste this...

Does anyone here know Mr Lowther? He ran a successful Kickstarter last year for a new range, has taken the money pledged and run. He's not responding to messages posted on KS and elsewhere, other than a brief appearance in mid-December promising immediate delivery, which has not been forthcoming.

It's not the money so much as the principle of the thing that's annoying me, given the relatively small amount involved. Some of the other backers are understandably talking about legal action, so hopefully someone can give him a shove to start communicating, and delivering what he promised.

Thanks for any help

One of the backers of that kickstarter as well. Was pretty excited by it and was glad to see he'd come back... but now...  :-X

Hmmm, looking back through the archives here, looks like Mark has previous form, dating back to 2008, for dropping out of sight leaving unpaid bills behind. That's worrying.

Good luck folks.  Hope you all get your funds or figs.

After seeing what went down with Tony Riedy's Defiance KS debacle (so glad I skipped that) I've been pretty good about only doing KS's with known companies in good repute, but it's impossible to know every time and it's a bummer when things go south.

Which KS was it?

Just saw that now...

More than a little disappointed as it seems to imply that the range wasn't completed for a long time...
