The first battle in our Tingtong campaign using Warhammer 'Legends of the Old West' rules.
The Jade Dragon Cultists, led by the 'Red Lotus' were moving to stop the 'foreigners' from desecrating their religious shrine. The British arrived with orders to take the compund for use as a base for patrolling the area. Meanwhile a group of Russian sailors on expedition, with some local hired Bandits, were trying to rob a horde of gemstones hidden under the Buddha statue.
The scene was set for mayhem!

The game started with alot of cagey moves from all three players but very soon the fighting broke out. The British defence force soon found themselves under attack and as the Ghurkas tried to fight off hordes of Chinamen, the rest of the force got into a gun battle with some more Chinese, and things didnt go well.
Meanwhile the Russians cautiously crept towards the compound with little firing and the Jade Dragons also waited outside the compound walls. The Russians made a en masse move into the compound and while the Jade Dragons and the British were busy fighting, found the gems and made off!
As the Russians legged it with the loot, the British finally took too many casualties and withdrew, though having killed a large number of Jade Dragons, including the Jingal Team as it lined up to shoot the Bandit Hero running off with the gems...
The game ended with the Jade Dragons taking control of the compound, but having taken huge losses, the British scurried back to the safety of Tingtong and the Russians headed back to stash their new found wealth on their ship.

The Redcoats are Empress Brits... Lovely figures.
The cultists are mainly from Redoubt with a few Foundry and Copplestone mixed in.
For Chinese skintones I use Vallejo Dark Flesh, GW Ogryn Wash, then recover with Dark Flesh and then add an old Lemon Yellow colour to do the highlights.
The next installment will see the Cultists trying to recover their gems from the Bandit Lair...

So, you mix the lemon with Dark Flesh for the highlights?

Absolutely spectacular V!
I've watched your work on this project. I have to commend you on the overall affect of a well-designed table, great model collection, and an excellent scenario. I would love to do some Interwar Asian gaming. So many projects - so little time.
