Hello, I want to make a Beast boy to play with my kids but seeing the animals listed in appendix II it seems he would be in disadvantage, the animals have low Stk and even low Str when compared with superheroes, one of the most deadly animals, a leopard, has Stk 4 and Str 3, or the chimps which are from 2 to five times stronger than humans, and which attacks always end with humans badly hurt struggling for life or dead, have Stk 2 and Str 3, should I modify those animals and delete the "Only Animals" Special effect? has anyone made a Beast boy Character?

no one?

When we made the animals for SS4, we did so with the idea that most heroes in comics handily deal with the odd zoo escape or wild animal encounter. The stats reflect that.
For Beast Boy I might make more powerful animals to reflect his greater importance to the story.

Ok, thanks, so, seeing I'm not going to use standard animals, should I remove "Only animals"? I'm going to try to do some of the animals this week

Would making up a few of your own animals help with Beast boys ability?

He seems to be able to do some not-quite-real animals (eg aliens, mythological types) at least some of the time, so maybe that would be better. Alternate Form definitely seems like the right way to go, since you're going to want to be able to reshuffle stats - a Tyrannosaur wouldn't have Strength 2, for ex.
