Do you mean Box Set One? That is H. M. Stanley

No, I ordered the book from Foundry and they were nice enough to include what appears to be an Anglo man in a tribal skirt armed with darts or javelins. He is not in any of the current Foundry DA ranges.

I'd love to see it.  Any chance you could post a camera-phone photo?

Looks like a Foundry Mycenaean to me, maybe they mistakenly packed him instead of a Colonial figure?

Its a freebie, Foundry have done this for many a year, they wil pop a random miniature in with your order. It is a great promotion tool, once or twice i have liked a figure and looked on there site and it has lead to a new project lol

I bought the Congo rules from Northstar, and they also came with a freebie, a vaguely Boer-looking chap wearing jodphurs, armed with a pistol, standing with arms crossed.

I thought it was strange for Foundry to give me a miniature that wasn't part of their DA range, but his head will probably go onto an Old West or Weird war 2 conversion. Cheers for the help.

I did a bit better than that!

With a reasonably large order last year, I got a witchdoctor. I thought that was a pretty good result, as I didn't fancy paying £12 to get seven witchdoctors  :D

And a Zulu figure came with some crocodiles I bought after that.

Sadly I still haven't won the lottery though, so my luck isn't all good.
