I've always been a fan of car combat and post apocalyptic car stuff. I've been following the great work by people on this forum for a long time now, and thought I'd share some of what I've done.
1957 Ford Thunderbird on a small monster truck chassis. A simple blade was added to the front along with exhaust from the front wheel wells. Paint is in progress:

A few more.
Angry Birds minion pig. Added some bigger tires and a cage from a front end loader. Also added a push bar and nose ring.

A Dodge pickup with some small changes. I added whip antennas to several of the cars.

Great start. Can't wait to see them painted.

A couple more cars built and primed, just waiting for some paint. The wreck marker was made from an electric flicker candle and a heavily abused Camaro from my youth.

And a couple finished cars. The orange hot rod was inspired by another project from this forum.
The Chrysler 300 is the limo of the President of the Reunited States of Southwest America.

A few more cars. These were built many years ago for Car Wars. I went for a clean look that you would see in a professional auto dueling arena versus the blasted wasteland. From left to right we have a Dodge Viper, a Mitsubishi Eclipse, and a Ford Focus. Weapons are 40k Tau and Space Marine parts.

Hey Charger ;-)
Just had a look see at what you've been getting upto, some nice cars you have there :-D
What did you use to make the whip-antennas? If it's plastic rod, you could use some to create little rivets on any armour panels you put on your cars :-)
I like how clean those combat cars are, and that presidential limo is killer!
Good stuff
James

The antenna are floral wire, but I think it's too thick. The fear I have is that anything thinner could break or bend too easily from transport and play.
I scour these forums daily looking for inspiration. Thanks for the rivet tip!

Try coated wire fishing leaders. They are cheap, flexible, and look great as whip antennas.
Your cars are great. I'm also a fan of having showroom combat cars as well as wasteland rides.

I never even considered those.. I will have to check that out next time I'm out shopping.

Ever since I saw the Rip Rod from Hot Wheels I knew I needed to make a car with a saw on the front. When my brother cleaned out his bits box there were two large chainsaw blades in it. Exactly what I needed! This car uses wheels from my first attempt at resin casting, and I used a bit of broom for the antenna.
