Hi all,
I would like to share with you some pics of my Scots Royalist Army c. 1645
Starting with some Pike and Shot
-
..and more Pike and Shot... The flags are hand painted.
-
Highlanders...
-
...more Highlanders...
-
Here is my interpretation of a frame gun. The carriage is scratchbuilt, wheels from Airfix Napoleonic French line artillery and gun barrels from naval swivel guns
-
Some cavalry and dragoons follow
-
Last Saturday we played a FOG-R game with Scots Royalist vs ECW Parliamentarian.
-
A general view of the table, Scots (right), Parliamentarian (left)
-
All pictures were taken at the peak of the battle when Miltiades came. (My camera was out of battery :-[ )
-
Once more a general view
-
The Scots managed to break 5 battle groups losing only two, achieving a marginal win.
-
Impressive army! :o
-
Looking very good!
-
Great stuff. really nice looking army you have there.
-
Thank you, gentlemen!
Here is one last picture from the battle. Oliver Cromwell, encouraging his troops.
One of the few Testudo miniatures I have, the are full of character!
I like very much this particular base and I promise another post devoted to it.
-
Oliver looks familiar! ;)
-
Of course! As you see, he can be in many places (and posts) at the same time! lol
