Shameless plug - If you like the Expanse series and you're a tabletop sci-fi gamer, you'll probably like these rules -- zero-G combat, boarding actions, fighting in zero atmosphere, combat hacking, lots of great stuff. It also includes a full "RPG Lite" campaign system in which you can generate your Star Marine and have the "Big Events" system determine where your unit is deployed, who you are fighting and even the mission you should play. No more trying to decide what scenario to play, the rules can do that for you.

Love THW SF rules but just spent $100 so will have to hold back for a bit on buying more goodies.

I was thinking of the expanse when I snagged the rules. Now to find some near future/sci-fi troopers that will fit my vison of them. So far the only ones coming close are 15mm stuff. That's a problem because all my money is sunk into 28mm stuff. :?

There are a lot of great 28mm miniatures out there for this genre. I ended up getting Rebel Mini's "Pathfinders" because they were on sale: http://www.rebelminis.com/28eafopa.html
But Hasslefree has "The Five Eight" set, love 'em!

Yep, the Five Eight are the way I'm going too. Great sculpts!
