Title: Across the Dead Earth PDF Rules now FREE
Post by: Adm Richie on February 12, 2017, 11:56:54 AM: An updated edition of Across the Dead Earth will be released as a book and PDF later this year. Until this edition is available, no hardcover copies of the game will be available (from us). BUT - the PDF version is now FREE to download from www.deadearth.co.uk That's right. FREE! If you haven't already downloaded it - what are you waiting for?

I'm not sure I follow. There have been no changes to the rules as yet.

I thought your comment implied that you already settled on the rules for the updated version.
Wanted to know what is changing.

We'll be consulting with everyone we can on change they'd like to see over the coming months. Nothing is set in stone, it's more that as we have sold out of the original edition we have the opportunity to add content and make the best of some of the things that could have been presented better in the original. So more art, a better campaign section, more photos, stuff from the expansions. Also a few counter cheese changes like restricting the use of a riot shield + other melee weapon to give a very high parry.

I don't see why not. It's hard to confirm because we're a long way off yet, but I'm sure we can sort something out.
