Visiting the show for the first time, on a road trip with my oldest friends. Looking forward to a mooch, enjoying the gaming eye-candy and maybe actually getting to play a game or two. Hope to see some of you there.

And to the various LAFer's who will be there, make sure you post lots of pics for those of us who can't attend.

(Anyone posting large-sized pictures of the Aboukir landing game will be entitled to my ever-lasting gratitude...  ;) lol ;) )

Enjoy it Karl. It's a great event. Hope to get back there (maybe even with a game, if the Franks allow it) in 2018 :)

It was not meant to be a dangerous question.  I would like to go to a big wargames show.

I went to Cannonade in 2014 but would like to visit one of the bigger shows.

Mick, Tactica is a lot smaller than Salute, but plenty big enough, and the standard of games is universally brilliant. Plus it's a very friendly, relaxed atmosphere. (Can't always say the latter two points when it comes to Salute!)

It was a very great show this year, beautiful tables and great games. Nice to meet old friends and new friends.
@uti: it was a Great pleasure to meet you four, hope to see you at BLAM.
@mason: In October we have to talk, I think...

@mike: it is impossible to compare Salute and Tactica. The Tactica started as a meeting of gamers, who wanted to meet and game a weekend. And the Tactica - for me is still a meeting of gamers now in in little bit bigger location. It is not as huge as the Salute. This year the table were still amazing.

A very enjoyable weekend. Thanks for being so welcoming to Helena, Karl, Rob and myself. I don't mind a currywurst but the barbecue won hands down (unlike our Egyptians)   Particular thanks to Dirk, Bjorn and Martin. :-)

Had a great time! Huge thank you to Dirk and Björn for showing us the ropes. Enjoyed a great Playmobil Ancients game thank to Martin and drooled over many a fine table - the huge Black Ops cargo ship being a real treat. Pics later. Thanks to all for a cracking weekend.

That Saga Viking crossover table was next to mine and it looked awesome. Full with beautifully painted minis on nice scenery! The guys did a great job!
